Submission of Abstracts

For oral communications and posters, an abstract should be prepared. Abstracts should deal with at least one of the AgroStat themes. The communications can be application oriented (solving of a concrete problem using statistical techniques), or methodological (new ways of data analysis).

The abstract should include: Title, Authors indicating presenting author, Affiliation, Main Text and Keywords. The Main Text should summarise in four separate paragraphs: Introduction, Methodology, Results, and Conclusions. The maximum length of the main text is 350 words. Participants should indicate their preference for poster or oral presentation, although the final decision is made by the Scientific Committee. Only abstracts submitted through the Conference Abstract Management Platform will be considered.

Abstracts will be reviewed by two members of the International Scientific Committee, and results will be communicated. Upon abstract acceptance, at least one of the authors must register in the Conference. An abstract with no associated registration at a stipulated time will be removed. A maximum of two abstracts can be presented by a registered participant.

Agrostat 2022 moved to Lyon

Dear colleagues and friends,

We have to announce that due to the uncertain sanitary situation, the organizing committee of Agrostat has decided to move the 2022 edition from Bragança, Portugal to Lyon, France, and to shorten it to one single day, as part of the Journées de la Statistiques. Agrostat 2022 will therefore be held on June 17th at University Lyon I.

Due to this change, we have delayed the deadline for abstract submission to April 1st, so please come and visit our Agrostat 2022 webpage (https://agrostat2022.sciencesconf.org/) to get more information and to submit your abstracts.

We are looking forward to seeing you soon in Lyon !

Nicolas Pineau, on behalf of the organizing committee

ANNOUNCEMENT

In response to the international concerns about the second wave spread of COVID-19, the AgroStat2021 Conference has now been postponed to 14-17th September 2021. The Organisers believe that the decision to postpone is necessary to prioritise people’s health and wellbeing. We trust that the social events ban in Portugal and the international travel restrictions will be gradually lifted; and, with hope, the AgroStat community will be able to meet again in September 2021.

We look forward to welcoming you in Bragança. In the meantime, stay safe and healthy.
